The journey from despising the industry, to really seeing the potential.

I hated direct sales. Like many of you I'm sure, my experiences had been sub-par and I labeled the direct selling industry as being pushy, predatory and sleezy. Some pretty negative adjectives there eh? It's exactly how I felt. People who were in direct sales didn't care what they sold you, they just wanted to make a buck. I wasn't having any of it.

I'm sure you can see where this is going because you've landed on my website and clearly I'm a Norwex consultant. So what changed for me? Well, I found this company and was impressed from the moment I was first introduced. Norwex has a product lineup that I can get behind. They are mindful of the environment, of the ethics in their raw material sourcing, in reducing toxic chemicals coming into our homes. That's what I saw on the surface. Once I joined and really got to know the company I discovered how they give back, how their customer service is top-notch, how well they treat their consultants and employees, and how they lift people up. I discovered an energy that I wanted to be a part of.

What keeps me loving what I do is honestly pretty simple. I love not answering to anyone. I love the freedom to be creative and produce content like what you're reading right now. I love making my customers happy. And I really love my team!

From Detractor to Cheerleader

I've been with Norwex since 2018. Since then I've come to appreciate how the industry has matured and how companies are really putting quality and good customer experiences first. There are actually quite a few companies out there that I now support on a regular basis. The products are some of the best you'll find.

Ok, ok. Sure. Yes, I make money. Of course I do! I'm not running a charity here. I'm doing something I love, with great people, and I'm being fairly compensated for my time. Fairly is the operative word here. This isn't a pyramid scheme. It's a business model which allows products to be demonstrated for customers as opposed to browsing on a shelf. What I've found is that Norwex is a product which sells itself, and because this is my side-hustle (for now) I have a finite amount of time that I can dedicate to educating the consumer. So, queue the team. As I'm teaching about the products, if someone is interested in doing what I do, then I take them under my wing and help them to replicate what I'm doing. But at no time do I slack off and leave the heavy-lifting to my team. That's not how it works. We're all in it together, and it's that common, cooperative goal that just does something for me. It's nice.

If you'd like to try out this direct-selling thing, I would love to have you be a part of my team. Reach out and let's have a chat!
